Arrival in Vancouver
Today you’ll arrive in the bustling city and be transferred to your comfortable, centrally located hotel in downtown Vancouver, near Robson Street and Stanley Park. You’ll be close to the bustling shops and cosy restaurants; perfect for a bite to eat. You’ll be close to the waterfront perfect to an evening stroll to see the city lights sparkle in the sea. Explore the city
Today it’s time to enjoy the delights of the city and we’ve arranged a bike ride with a local guide to show you the sights of Stanley Park. Cruise along the sea wall, taking in the stunning views across the water and admire the First Nations Totem Poles. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish – explore Granville Island, a peninsula of old warehouses, now a hub for cafes, restaurants and artist studios.
Optional day trip
Today you’ll make your way down to Steveston, where you’ll hop on a Zodiac boat ready for a few hours of whale watching. The tour today focuses on Killer whales and the majestic Humpback whale, but you’re also likely to see other marine wildlife such as sea lions, seals and bald eagles. You’ll be joined on your boat by a professional wildlife guide who’ll tell you about the marine ecosystem and answer any questions to may have. During your trip, you’ll also be supplied with hydrophones so you can hear the whales communicating with one and other.

Food Truck Tour
Today is all about food, food and more food! You’ll adventure through Vancouver, stopping at 4 of the city’s favourite food trucks. You’ll make your way around the city starting with a Japadog, also known as the pride of Vancouver – a juicy Berkshire hot dog topped with seaweed flakes. You’ll also be able to taste Vancouver’s number one fish taco and double chocolate cookies. Alongside your local guide, you’ll also see and explore more of the cities iconic sights, including Robson Square and Downtown Gardens.

Today, it’s either time to head to the airport to start your journey home or to pick up your hire car and begin the rest of your Canadian adventure. From Vancouver, you can either head across to Vancouver Island to see the wide array of wildlife such as whales and bears or continue your trip into the interior of the vast British Colombia province.
