Despite Canada’s size, the seasons are relatively similar across the country. The further south of Canada you are, the more the seasons are similar to Europe.

The Canadian summertime runs from mid-June through to August where temperatures can soar up to 30-35 degrees centigrade – particularly in the west. Summer is peak travel time to Canada so it’s best to book early to avoid any disappointment with availability.

The best seasons to travel to Canada are the shoulder months in spring and autumn where temperatures are often still warm, there are fewer tourists, better availability and lower prices – opt for a spring getaway between April to May and watch the country awaken from its winter slumber.

or a warm autumnal holiday travel in September through to October and watch the lush green summertime colours change to vibrant hues of red, yellow and orange. The best months for whale and bear spotting are between June and October.

At Rickshaw Travel we cater for Canada holidays from spring through to autumn only.
