From the first time I visited, I fell in love with Canada. From it’s clean and green cities, to its wondrous natural beauty such as the famous Rocky Mountains and the many glistening lakes, it’s truly a place for the outdoor adventurer. The hospitality of the locals is like nowhere else I have travelled, coupled with its array of wildlife such as bears, orcas and moose, it is somewhere that I could never tire of visiting.
There’s a reason Canada is home to one of the most epic train journey’s in the world – it’s simply stunning. I love it for the tasty coffee and craft beer culture of the cities, to the towering mountains and flower-strewn prairies where bison graze. Exploring the inlets of Vancouver Island to search for grizzly bears as they hunt for salmon, and taking a Zodiac into the waters to witness the iconic tail splash of an orca – as an avid animal lover these are some of my favourite adventures in Canada.
