This trek is ideal for those who want an immersive Himalayan experience without the crowds.

Day 1 – Drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor & trek to Banskharka
Duration: approx. 3 hours drive & 4 hours trekking
Altitude: 1,525m
This morning enjoy a scenic drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor. After lunch, start your trek across a suspension bridge above the Kali Gandaki River. The trail gradually ascends through forested paths and stone steps, passing terraced fields and traditional villages. End the day in Banskharka, a peaceful Magar village known for its orange farms.
Day 2 – Trek to Nangi
Duration: approx. 6 hours trekking
Altitude: 2,300m
From Banskharka, you’ll continue on a gentle uphill trail through terraced fields, forested paths, and small villages. Cross a small stream midway, enjoy scenic viewpoints, and continue uphill past local farms until reaching Nangi around midday. Spend time exploring the village and resting. This day is easy to moderate, perfect for enjoying the scenery.


Day 3 – Trek to Mohare
Duration: approx. 6 hours trekking
Altitude: 3,300m
The trail climbs steadily through terraced fields, small forests, and streams. Enjoy scenic views of surrounding valleys and mountains, passing local villages and viewpoints. Arrive at Mohare Hill for lunch, rest, and exploration. Today’s trek is easy to moderate, giving plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and take photos along the way.
Day 4 – Trek to Tilkot
Duration: approx. 6 hours trekking
Altitude: 2,270m
Today is mostly downhill. The path winds through forests, terraced fields, and small streams, offering scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You’ll pass small villages where you can see local life, before arriving in Tilkot where you’ll check into a homestay, rest and relax.
Day 5 – Trek to Khibang
Duration: approx. 6 hours trekking
Altitude: 1,950m
From Tilkot, the first half of the trail gradually ascends through terraced fields, forests, and small streams, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills. After reaching the higher section, the trail gradually descends toward the village of Khibang, passing through more forests, local villages, and farmland along the way.
Day 6 – Trek to Swanta
Duration: approx. 4 hours trekking
Altitude: 2,200m
Today is a shorter, moderate trek through forests, farmland, and small villages. Enjoy a mix of gentle ascents and descents and take in the views of surrounding hills and valleys.


Day 7 – Trek to Khopra Ridge
Duration: approx. 7 hours trekking
Altitude: 3,650m
Today’s trail is a scenic, steady ascent from Swanta to Khopra Ridge. It’s a challenging trek yet rewarding as you approach the ridge. Pass forests, terraced fields, and small streams, enjoying panoramic mountain vistas along the way. Khopra Ridge offers a stunning 360° panorama of the Himalayas, making it the unforgettable highlight of this remote trek. Rest and soak up the views.
Day 8 – Trek to Narchyang (Community Homestay)
Duration: approx. 5 hours trekking
Altitude: 1,550m
From Khopra Ridge the trail gradually descends (with some gentle uphill sections) through forests, terraced fields, and small villages. Your destination is the village of Narchyang – well off the tourist path, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
You’ll be staying at Narchyang Community Homestay, which is part of the Community Homestay network. This innovative social enterprise supports a network of community homestays throughout Nepal. Their aim is to connect travellers with rural communities and provide a unique opportunity to immerse in real Nepali life, whilst bringing a sustainable source of income to local communities. Day 9 – Trek to Tatopani Hot Springs & drive to Pokhara
Duration: approx. 1 hour trekking & 2-3 hours drive
Altitude:1,190m
Say goodbye to your village hosts and head off on a short, easy descent to Tatopani. This town is busier than any other place on the trek as it’s on the main Annapurna Circuit trail. There is time to relax in the famous hot springs and stroll around the bazaar before driving back to Pokhara, via Beni.
