Our top reasons to visit Mexico, Guatemala and Belize

The Spirit of Mexico

The largest and most well-known country of the three and therefore also the most popular with tourists. This means the infrastructure is well-developed and there are great flight options from Europe. The peninsula of Yucatan is especially popular and not without reason. It has beautiful white beaches and many Mayan temples that are worth a visit. From major tourist attractions such as Chichen Itza, but also many small ones still hidden in the jungle.

Scenic Guatemala

Lesser explored than its bigger neighbour, Guatemala is still very authentic and the local Indian population often still wear traditional clothing. Lake Panajachel is breathtakingly beautiful and the Tikal jungle complex, hidden deep in the jungle, is a must-see when travelling here.

Laidback Belize

This pint-sized country is all about slowing down! The Creole population and tropical jungle make Belize very different from the neighbouring countries of Guatemala and Mexico. Life goes slowly and the islands are the perfect spot for a few days away from it all.

Best time to visit Mexico

Mexico is one of the few countries that can be visited throughout the year. The weather is great all year round and the temperatures here rarely drop below 20 degrees in the plains and 15 degrees in the highlands. We’ve put together some handy tips on where to go when.
