Kuala Lumpur is a city of exciting extremes with a character that changes at almost every street corner. You’ll discover the city on a guided walk with a local who will show you beyond the tourist sites. There will also be time to explore at your own pace, soaking up the energy of the city. You can gaze up at the world-famous Petronas Towers, give your credit card a workout in the malls of Bukit Bintang, taste some local specialities and get a bird’s eye view over the city from the top of the KL Tower.

Day 1 – Arrival in Kuala Lumpur

Arriving in Kuala Lumpur, you’ll be collected at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang, one of the trendiest districts of the city. Bukit Bintang buzzes on a 24-hour basis, and you’ll be in the hub of the action, surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants and foodcourts. It’s a great base for exploring KL.

Day 2 – Cultural & culinary city walk

Today we’ll arrange a walking tour in a small group with other travellers, to explore historic and culinary Kuala Lumpur with your English-speaking guide. Your guide knows the city well and this walking tour takes you to some lesser-known areas of KL. The city has only developed into a modern metropolis in the last few decades, and it’s still possible to discover the original Kuala Lumpur. Along the way you will also stop at small street stalls where you can try some typical Malay food.
