Day 1 – Arrival and jungle walk
Time for a remote rainforest adventure as you head to the little-known jungle of Endau Rompin National Park. Your base for the next two nights is a comfortable, brick-built lodge set amidst the forest. The spacious rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned. Having settled in, enjoy dinner in the restaurant, then head out on a guided jungle walk exploring the trails around the lodge and spotting the nocturnal wildlife. Fall asleep to the sounds of nature.
Days 2-3 – Boat cruise, jungle trekking and departure
After breakfast, board a boat for a scenic cruise of around three hours along the Sungai Kinchin River. Sit back and enjoy views of the rainforest lining the riverbanks while keeping an eye out for monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Along the way, a picnic lunch is served at a picturesque swimming spot in the heart of the jungle—so don’t forget your swimwear. There are even jungle vines you can swing from into the water.
In the afternoon, explore the area on foot during a guided jungle trek of around three hours to the Seri Mahkota Waterfall, one of the park’s most impressive waterfalls. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Endau Rompin’s rich biodiversity. You may hear gibbons calling—and with a bit of luck, spot them swinging through the treetops. At the waterfall, there’s time for a refreshing swim before returning to the lodge via a different route. In the evening, a generous dinner buffet awaits, with both Asian and Western options.
On your final day you’ll depart after breakfast.

Camping in the jungles of Endau Rompin
For a true back to nature experience we can switch the lodge accommodation for camping in this bite-sized trip. No need to set up your tent on arrival at the campsite as it’s a permanent site with basic toilets and cold water showers, and each tent has a mattress inside. The campsite is close to an Orang Asli village and, when you’re not trekking through the jungle, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the tribe.
