    Lake Garda has more to offer than meets the eye, even if the colourful harbour, narrow streets and old town seems like more than enough at first sight. Get active hitting the water on a boat or surfboard, or stay on dry land, walking or cycling past impressive rock formations. For a slower pace, simply enjoy the views from a sun lounger relaxing on a beach surrounded by mountains. You will stay on the north side of the lake in the medieval town of Riva del Garda with views of the Dolomites and fine Italian atmosphere.

    Day 1 – Arrival Lake Garda

    After a beautiful drive, you will arrive in Lake Garda today, where you will find all the ingredients for a perfect stay: the sun, good food and the clear water of the lake. You will stay in a colourful hotel on a square by the water in the medieval town of Riva del Garda on the north side of the lake. Just a few minutes away is the harbour at Lake Garda that looks over the crystal-clear water with the mountains in the distance.

    Day 2 – Cycling at Lake Garda

    Today you will climb out of your sun lounger and onto a mountain bike, ready to explore the area of ​​Riva del Garda using your navigation app. There is lot to see as you pass quaint towns and imposing rock faces along the shoreline. For those with a sense of adventure, there is the spectacular 45-km ride through the Valley of the Lakes starting in the town of Arco, a city covered with palm trees and an impressive medieval castle at the top. You will then continue past apple orchards and vineyards, stopping at a crystal-clear mountain lake overlooking the rock walls of Monte Brento and Monte Casale.

    Day 3 – Arrivederci Riva del Garda

    You will have a final breakfast on the water’s edge this morning, before travelling on to explore the rest of Northern Italy. You can be in Northern Tuscany in just four hours to take in the culture (and the wine), or head to San Gimignano in 5 hours and exchange the bicycle for the Vespa.
