Day 1 – Arrival in Tanjung Benoa
South of Sanur, Tanjung Benoa is home to one of Bali’s most beautiful beaches, where at low tide you can wander the shore with the children looking for shells. It’s a lovely way to round off your Bali trip, staying either in an authentic Balinese-style hotel or a modern beachfront property, both with a swimming pool and air-conditioned rooms. Enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant overlooking the sea and spend your final days soaking up the relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Day 2 – South coast at your leisure
Along the main street you’ll find a few shops and cafés, but the next few days are entirely at your leisure so you can simply relax on the beach in Tanjung Benoa. The sandy shoreline is right on your doorstep, and after breakfast you can unwind by the pool or head straight down to the sea. The beach slopes gently into the water by Balinese standards, although small children should always be supervised when swimming due to the waves. In the evening, watch the sun set and enjoy the red glow shimmering across the sea as you round off the day in relaxed holiday style.
Day 3 – Time to leave paradise
For many families the southern beaches are the final stop of the trip. In most cases your return flight from Denpasar is not until the evening so there is no need to rush and you can enjoy a final walk along the beach, pick up some souvenirs or squeeze in one last swim before departure. Depending on your flight time you will be collected during the day and transferred to the airport in around 1.5 hours. With sand still between your toes and a suitcase full of memories you begin your journey home usually with a stopover and arriving the following day.
