Day 1 – Arrival in Senggigi

Senggigi, on Lombok’s west coast, is a lively seaside town that combines easy access with a relaxed atmosphere. You will stay in a quiet beachfront hotel set in lush gardens, with bungalows spread among the greenery, a beautiful pool and shady spots by the sea, perfect for unwinding. The lively centre is just a 10 minute taxi ride away, while both the airport and the island’s green hinterland with its rice terraces can be reached in around an hour, making Senggigi an excellent base for exploring.

    Day 2 & 3 – Time to relax

You can spend these days exactly as you wish and enjoy quality time together, whether building sandcastles on the soft sandy beach, playing in the sea or simply relaxing on a lounger by the pool, with nothing required and everything possible. In the evening, take in the sunset in Senggigi and, on clear days, even spot Mount Agung in Bali across the water, while the early sunset around 6 pm in Indonesia allows you to enjoy the view together with your children before bedtime.

Day 4 – Immerse yourself in village life on Lombok

After breakfast, you will head into Lombok’s green interior for an authentic experience of village life in the Sasak village of Bonjeruk. With a local guide, you will learn about traditions, community projects and daily routines. In the village garden, you will explore tropical fruits and join in preparing the traditional drink Jamu. You will then enjoy a typical rice table before continuing your journey. If you prefer something more active, you can also discover the hinterland by bike or on a hike to nearby waterfalls.
