Like a fantasy world of ancient gods, where kings of the past produced monuments to their power in truly epic proportions. You’ll stay in nearby Siem Reap and head out to explore the site with a local guide – it’s an experience which adults and kids of any age will never forget.

Day 1 – Arrival in Siem Reap

Whether you’re arriving by land or by air, we’ll arrange for a transfer to meet you and take you to your hotel. It’s a comfy, friendly place with a lush garden and a swimming pool for the children to jump into and cool off. You’re near the centre of Siem Reap, with a whole host of good restaurants and plenty to keep the family entertained. The hotel can help you rent bikes if you fancy exploring on two wheels.

Days 2-3 – Angkor tour, and free time to relax or explore

Everyone is going to be a little bleary-eyed this morning as your guide comes to meet you at 5am! It’s well worth it – seeing the sunrise over the iconic Angkor Wat temple is an unforgettable experience. After the sun has come up you’ll have some breakfast, before the rest of your private tour. The site is astounding, with vast temples built by kings trying to out-do each other over the years, and endless pathways and hidden corners for the kids to explore.

Day 4 – Departure day

After pretending to be Lara Croft for the day, you’ll return to Siem Reap in the afternoon to relax. The rest of your time here is free to do whatever you like, but if you’d prefer to have it pre-planned then let us know… we can book a second day at Angkor, arrange a cycling tour in the countryside, or even a visit to a local circus founded by former refugees.
