White sandy beaches, lush green forests and clear fish-filled waters – these islands are like something from a postcard, and a perfect place for your family to kick back and enjoy the sunshine during your adventures through Cambodia. We work with a range of accommodation across both Koh Rong and the quieter Koh Rong Samloem, so we can find something to suit every family.

Day 1 – Catch the boat to the islands

From the pier in Sihanoukville we’ll have booked tickets for you on the speedy boat service over to Koh Rong or Koh Rong Samloem. It’s around 1.5 hours and the kids are bound to love zipping through the bright blue sea. When you reach land you’ll head to your hotel to get settled in – we work with a selection of properties, from bungalows to beach resorts, but we’ll have a chat about what kind of thing you prefer before you book.

Days 2-3 – Whatever you like!

When you’re on a remote little island paradise, we think it’s best not to plan too much. You can relax in the sunshine and recharge your batteries on the beach, but if you (or more likely your children!) get restless then there are lots of things you can arrange locally, with snorkelling trips, bike rental, paddle boarding and jungle walks all on offer. In the evenings you can watch the sunset at a beachside restaurant – life is pretty easy here!

Day 4 – Back to mainland

We can book a little longer for you here if you like, but otherwise it’s time to pack up and hop back on the boat to Sihanoukville, ready to carry on your journey.
