Day 1 – Arrival in Bariloche

When you arrive in Bariloche, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your cosy hotel with a friendly atmosphere, just outside the town centre. There are several hiking trails in the area, so you can spend the afternoon wandering in the hills and soaking up the beautiful surroundings. You can finish the day with a local glass of wine in the hotel restaurant, overlooking the deep blue Lake Nauhel Huapi.

Day 2 – Bariloche

This morning is free for you to explore Bariloche at your own pace. The Centro Civico (town centre) is just a 15 minute walk from your hotel. On the way into town, you’ll pass several shops selling ski gear and chocolate. In the main square, you’ll find the local tourist office and the Patagonia Museum, which is well worth a visit.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to Lago Gutierrez, a highland lake nestled between mountain peaks. After a short briefing, you’ll climb into a small two-person kayak and head out onto the water with your guide, crossing silent clear lakes, surrounded by towering peaks and dense pine forests. At around 6pm you’ll be dropped back at your hotel.

Day 3 – Departure from Bariloche

After breakfast today, your trip to Bariloche comes to an end and you’ll get ready to hit the road again for your next destination in Argentina.
