Day 1 – Arrival in Khao Lak
Today, you will be collected by private transfer from your hotel in Phuket, or from the airport, and you’ll be taken to the beach in Khao Lak. If you’re coming from Khao Sok National Park or Krabi, we can also arrange a transfer for you. We have selected a laid-back beachfront retreat, just outside the centre of Khao Lak, where you’ll stay in a Thai-style bungalow nestled within the lush tropical gardens. There is a beautiful swimming pool, with a kids’ pool and a playground on site, perfect for keeping the little ones busy while you relax and soak in the peace and tranquillity of Khao Lak.
Days 2 & 3 – Free time in Khao Lak
For the next few days, you can spend your time here as you wish, embracing Khao Lak’s diverse mix of sandy beaches, lush jungle interior and adventurous water-based activities. Spend time lazing on the beach, building sandcastles together and splashing around in the tropical waters of the Andaman Sea. Grab a mask and snorkel and head to the nearby Similan Islands Marine Park on a day tour, where you can dive into the crystal-clear waters and explore the vibrant underwater world. Keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles gliding past. You can also rent a bike or e-bike and explore the lush interior of Khao Lak, passing rubber plantations, local villages, and jungle trails.

Day 4 – Departure from Khao Lak
Today, it’s time to say goodbye to your beach retreat and move on to your next destination in Thailand. If you’re looking to explore the jungle and its diverse flora and fauna, then Khao Sok National Park should be your next stop. If it’s more beach time you’re after, then sandy shores await in the south. We can arrange a transfer onto your next destination, just let your travel specialist know.

If you’re seeking untouched nature, then we can arrange a day trip to Khao Sok National Park. Here, you’ll be amazed by the towering limestone cliffs appearing out of the turquoise waters and the lush green jungle, which can be explored on foot. You’ll glide across the emerald-green lake by longtail boat, before venturing through the jungle with local rangers and exploring fascinating caves like Prakaiphet Cave. After enjoying a tasty lunch at the floating restaurant, you can take a dip in the lake or use one of the kayaks and soak in the beautiful natural surroundings.
