Day 1- Arrival in Hua Hin

Today you will say goodbye to the bright lights of Bangkok and travel three hours south to a lesser-explored area of Thailand. You’ll check into your small boutique hotel with swimming pool, right on the beach in peaceful Hua Hin. The perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or fruit shake and watch the sun go down!

    Day 2 -Wildlife Friends Foundation

After breakfast the following morning, you will temporarily wave goodbye to this little haven as you head inland to the Wildlife Friends Foundation. The WFFT rescue and rehabilitate sick and injured animals, such as monkeys, gibbons, wild cats, bears, birds, reptiles and elephants, so that eventually they can be released back into the wild. They also try to educate the local people to end animal cruelty in all its forms. You’ll take a tour of the centre, learn about the animals individual stories and help out with feeding time!

You’ll then be transferred back to your beachside resort and the rest of your day is free for you to do as you please. After a day of adventure, why not try the fresh fish or some of the other Thai specialities on your terrace with the light sea breeze for a calming end to the day.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side - Pranburi accommodation

    • Price:
From £ 484.- per adult and £429 per child
    • Included:
In Style accommodation, excursions, transport and meals as described above

For this bite-sized trip we have an alternative option available for your accommodation. Pranburi is a laid-back, seaside resort a little further south of Hua Hin. It has a long sandy beach and is quieter than its well-known neighbour. You will stay in a Thai-style resort right on the beach. This is the place to slip on your flip-flops, settle under a palm tree and let the kids splash around in the pool. In the evening, you can dine at the hotel restaurant or choose one of the small local restaurants in Pranburi. If you would prefer to stay in Pranburi for this bite-size trip select the option below.

    2Add to my trip

Elephant Safari in Kui Buri National Park

    • Price:
From £ 169.- per adult and £129 per child
    • Included:
Transport, guide, lunch and entrance fee

If your kids love elephants then you may also wish to visit Kui Buri National Park, which is about a 1.5-hour drive from your hotel. It’s home to around 500 wild elephants. You will drive (together with a driver and an English-speaking guide) in an open jeep through the park. Because the watering holes and meadows are easily accessible and because your guide knows the habits and routes of the elephants, there is a high chance you will spot the elephants. The park is closed annually between September 1 and October 31
