Welcome to Nairobi
Bite-sized trip
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
After landing at the modern airport in Nairobi, your driver will be waiting with a sign with your name on it. It’s a good idea to withdraw some Kenyan shillings so you have some cash for drinks and tips during your trip. You’ll now be transferred to your quiet, colonial-Arabic-style hotel, just outside the city centre, where the staff will welcome you with big smiles. Your room is equipped with a bathroom with a shower, toilet and hot water, which is a luxury in Kenya.
Day 2 – Departure from Nairobi
It’s time to say goodbye to Nairobi and continue onto your next destination in Kenya. Meet the Maasai people, staying in a tented camp and head on safari in the Masai Mara, search for rhinos and flamingos in Lake Nakuru National Park, or witness Kenya’s largest elephant herd in Amboseli National Park. If you’d prefer a slower start to your journey, by staying another night here and relaxing by the pool, speak to your travel specialist about arranging this.
