Day 1 – Arrival in Diani Beach
Today you will travel either by train or catch a flight to see the tropical side of Kenya, arriving at Diani Beach, where you will stay for the next three nights. The beach is located on a beautiful stretch of coastline with white sandy beaches, swaying palm trees and traditional dhow boats floating along the tropical turquoise waters. You will stay at a small-scale beach resort, surrounded by lush gardens and a swimming pool to cool off in. The resort has a restaurant, lounge bar and a beach bar where you can enjoy a delicious evening meal and sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the tranquil seas.
Day 2 & 3 – Free time on Diani Beach
We have not planned anything for your stay here, so the next few days are yours to spend however you wish. Relax on the soft sands, take a day trip on a dhow (a traditional fishing boat), or if you’re seeking adventure you could explore the underwater world on a diving trip, or stay above the surface and try kitesurfing or windsurfing.
Day 4 – Departure from Diani Beach
After your final breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the palm-lined beaches and head onto your next destination in Kenya. Search for hippos in Lake Naivasha, meet the local Maasai people in Maji Moto or spot the largest elephant herd in Kenya on safari in Amboseli National Park. If you would prefer to extend your stay by the sea then we can also arrange this for you.
