Conservation
Hlane National Park is the largest protected reserve in Eswatini, where you’ll find wildlife including elephants, black and white rhinos, lions, and zebras roaming freely. The rhino and lion have been carefully reintroduced and are closely monitored, with strong anti-poaching measures in place, which is especially important for protecting endangered species like the rhino. As you explore, you will see how conservation is at the heart of the park, from controlled access to carefully managed areas to avoid overuse. The reserve also works closely with the local community, creating jobs and opportunities that support long-term conservation efforts. This focus on conservation adds another layer to the experience for families, as you’re not just spotting wildlife, but seeing a place where real efforts are being made to protect it for the future.
