Day 1 – Arrival in Sun Peaks
After taking a winding road along alpine meadows and forests you’ll arrive at the mountain village of Sun Peaks. You can spend the day strolling through the village, immersing yourself in the colourful chalets, restaurants and local shops in the area. There’s a gondola that will bring you up and down the mountains, through the colour palette of flowers, so you can save your legs for your paddleboarding adventure tomorrow!
Day 2 – Supping about on a Canadian lake
Today, you can test your balance on a stand-up paddleboard, gliding across the surface of a glistening lake. It’s a 15-minute drive from Sun Peaks where you’ll find a typical Canadian lake surrounded by pine trees. You’ll have a briefing with an experienced instructor who’ll teach you all the tricks of the trade, before paddling the lake yourself. Spot birds, ducks and perhaps the red echoed turtle whilst on the water.
Day 3 – Departure from Sun Peaks
Before your departure today you can explore the area further or use the opportunity to try some alternative activities. Once you’re ready and packed it’s time to head on to your next location! Only an hour and a half away you’ll find Wells Gray National Park, or you can go directly to the Rocky Mountains.

You’ll be joined by a guide for a 2-hour hike through Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks offers beautiful hiking trails, and with a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll learn all about the area.
