Often called the St. Tropez of Brazil, and once a playground for legends such as Brigette Bardot, over the past 50 years Buzios has developed from a tiny fishing village into a glamorous hangout for Brazil's rich and famous. There's plenty here for us 'normal' people too though, with stunning Atlantic beaches, a beautiful waterfront area and cobbled streets dotted with great restaurants and stylish bars. For a few days living the high life, there are few better spots in South America.

Shared transfers to and from Rio de Janeiro

Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro to Buzios

Today you’ll be transferred from Rio de Janeiro (either the airport or your hotel depending on your itinerary) to the upscale seaside resort of Buzios – a journey of 3-4 hours. On arrival check into your accommodation, which is just steps away from Ossos Beach. Take a dip in the sea or you can cool off in the swimming pool, before heading out for dinner in one of the many restaurants, and sampling the nightlife.

Days 2-3 – Relax and explore

The next few days are free for you to relax and explore the area as you wish. The Bardot waterfront and Rua das Pedras, with their chic shops, are within walking distance from your accommodation. If you feel restless then you can explore the various different beaches around the peninsula, walk along some forest trails and easily book snorkelling or boat trips locally. Or just kick back and relax in a hammock with a book and a Caipirinha.

Day 4 – Departure from Buzios

Today we will arrange your transfer back to Rio de Janeiro, dropping you either at the airport or your Rio hotel, depending on the next step on your Brazil journey.
