Day 1 – Arrival on La Digue
After just a half-hour boat ride from Praslin, you will arrive at the charming island of La Digue. The crossing itself is beautiful, and taking the morning ferry means you can make the most of your first day on the island. Your host will be waiting to take you to your cozy guesthouse, where you will spend the next few nights. Many guesthouses are within walking distance of the pier, and with only a handful of cars on the island, the peaceful, car-free streets immediately add to the sense of relaxation. Reggae music drifts from local bars, and the sound of Bob Marley is a familiar soundtrack.
Cycling is the main way to get around, and bike rental is included with your stay, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy—relax at your guesthouse, chat with the friendly locals, or visit one of La Digue’s heavenly beaches. The northern beaches are perfect for an afternoon by the Indian Ocean, and for a special treat, finish the day with a fresh juice from Karim’s Fruit Bar while watching the sunset.
Day 2 & 3 – Bike, swim, sun, repeat!
The next two days are yours to enjoy at your own pace. La Digue is a small island, giving you plenty of time to visit its stunning beaches. Anse Source d’Argent is a must-see, often regarded as the most beautiful beach in the Seychelles and even one of the finest in the world. Huge granite boulders separate the dazzling stretches of sand, which are best admired from the water. You can rent a kayak to explore up close and then take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear sea.
Although Anse Source d’Argent is famous, the beaches on the east side are equally breathtaking, particularly Anse Cocos. Cycle across the island to Grand Anse, where you can leave your bike and admire the brilliant white sand and vivid blue water. From there, follow a dirt path that climbs and winds over rocks to reach Petite Anse and Anse Cocos. The effort is well worth it, as the views are simply spectacular. Spend the afternoon relaxing with a fresh fruit smoothie, swimming in the warm water, and soaking up the beauty of this tropical paradise.
Day 4 – International departure
Today is your final day in paradise. Depending on your flight time, you can enjoy a final breakfast and perhaps relax by the pool or have a final dip in the sea. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the airport.
