Day 1 – Hello Praslin
After an hour’s boat ride from Mahé or half an hour from La Digue, you will arrive on Praslin, where a representative will be waiting to take you to your accommodation. Life on Praslin moves at a much slower pace than on Mahé, and you will feel it immediately. Along the coast, pristine white beaches meet large granite boulders, while the vibrant green interior stretches inland. If you enjoy papaya and mango, you are in luck, as these fruits grow here in abundance all year round.
For the next few days, you will stay at a small beach resort, the perfect base for exploring the island and relaxing on the soft sandy beach. If you are in the mood for a local Creole meal, there is always a cosy restaurant nearby. For a quicker option, enjoy a simple Creole dish of rice with meat, fish, or vegetables.
Day 2 & 3 – Time at leisure
Praslin offers plenty to enjoy at a relaxed pace. Spend your days lounging on breathtaking beaches like Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, swimming in turquoise waters, or exploring hidden coves. Take a boat trip to nearby islands such as Curieuse and St Pierre, where you can snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, spot giant tortoises, and admire untouched landscapes. Discover the island’s unique flora at Vallée de Mai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to the rare Coco de Mer palms and exotic wildlife. Sample fresh Creole cuisine at local cafés and restaurants, stroll through small villages, or simply unwind at your resort, enjoying the pool, spa, or serene ocean views.
Day 4 – International departure
Today is your final day in paradise. Depending on your flight time, you can enjoy a final breakfast and perhaps relax by the pool or have a final dip in the sea. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the airport.
