The island of Crete offers some excellent hiking trails, and the rugged cliffs of the Imbros Gorge is a particuarly great spot for a bit of hiking. We’ll include a picnic and map so you can explore the 5 mile stretch through the canyon at your own pace. With the White Mountains, green vegetation and steep cliffs you can be sure of some great photo opportunities along the way and the terrain is suitable for little feet.

Best time to visit Greece

As you will want to spend the majority of your time outdoors in Greece, we recommend visiting between April and October when the temperatures are pleasant and there is hardly any rain.
