From an early age I have loved to travel and see what the world has to offer. As I became older, my trips grew longer and to more far flung destinations. Latin America has been a fascination for me as long as I can remember and I’ve been lucky enough to travel from Patagonia in the south of Chile to the beaches of north-east Brazil, taking in the colonial architecture, vibrant buildings, pristine white beaches, dense rain-forest and some amazing mountain treks.

Asia offers the best food I have found in my travels, my favourite of all cuisine being Vietnamese. However, with my passion for Latin America I have been determined to find street food that can compete with all that Asia has to offer, whether it is the Brazilian BBQ or the Guinea pig of Peru, I will continue to discover the hidden culinary delights of this side of the world!
There is nothing I love more than putting on my hiking boots and escaping the city life for a few days hard trekking, being open to the elements, camping under the stars and meeting some great likeminded people on the way. My favourite of all treks I have achieved is the Salkantay trek in Peru. Offering an alternative trek to Machu Picchu away from the crowded Inca Trail, this is more gruelling but the views are spectacular and there is not the need for a permit!
Travelling is all about the memories you can take home with you. The fascinating people you meet, the exotic cultures to immerse yourself within, and nature & wildlife you cannot see on your doorstep. Everyone has different tastes but travelling will cater to all tastes. Whilst I would love to twist your arm to experience some of my lifetime memories, there are so many wonderful destinations we offer that perhaps one of those appeals to you more.
