Why Meaningful Travel matters to me
I’m always trying to do my bit for the world in one way or another; whether its choosing ethical products, living a veggie/vegan lifestyle, donating to charities or volunteering at a local animal project every now and then. At the office, it’s no secret to everyone that I’m a bit of a wildlife fanatic and I’m proud to have been part of the development of our own Animal Welfare Policy.
My most Meaningful Travel moment
I’ve got a few. Walking in the middle of the celebrations of one of Bali’s famous Ogoh Ogoh parades was pretty special for me- there’s nothing like stepping into the thick of it and soaking up the culture alongside the people that live and breath it. Oh and I can’t forget to mention my very memorable trip to the Elephant Transit Home in Sri Lanka where I observed a herd of orphaned elephants arrive for feeding time. Magic.
My day job at Rickshaw
As well as being in the Meaningful Travel team, I also work full time in the lovely marketing team as a full time Social, Content & PR specialist.
