Your day-by-day itinerary
Arrive in Antimony, Bryce Canyon
Today you will probably be driving from Zion National Park to get to your ranch stay in Bryce Canyon, which is roughly a 2.5 hours journey. En route you’ll drive past fascinating tall, thin spires of jagged rock jutting out of the ground known as “hoodos”. The dusty driveway will take you up to your traditional ranch, where your real-life cowboy hosts will be waiting there to greet you.
Your room is western-style with a wooden bed frame and has its own private bathroom. The ranch itself is as authentic as it comes and you’ll get lost in the Old-West atmosphere. With its vast grounds, there is plenty of space for the endless activities on offer: be it throwing a lasso, bucking a (fake) bronco or barrel racing.
Time on the ranch
Rise and shine! With so much to do, a cowboys day always starts early. Lend a hand brushing and feeding the horses before they get saddled up for the days activities. In the afternoon you’ll go on a horse ride led by your experienced guide. He’ll take you across wide greed meadows, through flowing streams and past red rock formations. Cool off with a dip in the lake before galloping back to prepare for the evening’s entertainment. As the sun sets, the campfire is lit and the country band gets going for line dancing. It’s a fun way to end such a memorable experience.
Leave Antimony, Bryce Canyon
Hang up your lasso and take off your cowboy boots – it’s time to say goodbye to the ranch and move on to the next stop of your American adventure.
