Arrival in Corcovado

You’ll travel to Corcovado via Sierpe where you’ll be picked up and soon be surrounded by banana and palm oil plantations at the port. Troops of howler monkeys live along the shores between the mangrove roots, and the white ibis forage for food among them. On arrival at Drake Bay, you’ll find your simple jungle lodge located minutes walk from the beach.

Corcovado National Park

After an early breakfast you’ll head along the coast to Corcovado National Park where you’ll meet your guide and walk along the marked trail through the forest. The rainforest is teeming with animals, birds and insects. Scattered among the fruit laden trees, the brightly coloured toucans and large blue butterflies are easy to spot.
