Day 1 – Arrival in Goa
Today, you’ll be transferred from the airport to your charming colonial townhouse in the picturesque neighbourhood of Fontainhas. You’ll spend the next two nights in this atmospheric area, tucked away in a tangle of narrow streets lined with brightly painted houses. Your room will be furnished in Portuguese colonial style with its own balcony and meals will be served on the scenic veranda.
Days 2-3 – Old Goa excursion & departure
After breakfast, you’ll be met at your hotel by our local guide for a walking tour of Fontainhas, one of the old Portuguese quarters in Panjim. You’ll then continue onto Old Goa, the former Portuguese capital, which lies a few miles inland. It’s a quiet place packed with colonial churches, giving you a glimpse into a totally different side of Goa. After the tour ends, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
The next day you’ll head for your next destination.
