Day 1 – Arrival in Boca Chica
Today you travel to Golfo de Chiriquí, past Panama’s vast, green expanses to the sleepy little fishing village of Boca Chica. This small piece of land is the perfect starting point for exploring the underwater world and surrounding islands. You’ll stay in a small bungalow, about 5 mins drive from the centre of the village with spectacular views across the coast. Grab a cocktail, sit back and relax…
Day 2 – Boat trip
After breakfast you’ll head out on a boat trip to discover the islands in the Golfo de Chiriquí. Not only are these islands home to sea turtles and dolphins, they’re also blessed with soft, powdery sand. At lunch time you’ll stop for a picnic lunch on the beach. Sink your toes into the sand, watch the waves lap against the shoreline and listen to the birds twittering away amongst the palm trees.
Day 3 – Departure from Boca Chica
You can spend your morning relaxing by the pool or swimming in the sea. Between July and November humpback whales can be spotted just off the coast, so it’s a great time of year to extend your stay and book a whale-spotting trip on the spot. Soon, it’s time to leave and you’ll pack up your things and continue your travels through Panama.
