Arrival in Los Angeles
Once you’ve arrived it’s time to head into one of America’s most iconic cities, Los Angeles. L.A. stretches out along the coast, dotted with stunning beaches and palm trees swaying in the warm breeze. Your hotel is located in picturesque Marina del Rey here you can enjoy views across the water, located a stone’s throw to Venice Beach. After settling in to your hotel, why not take a stroll along the boardwalk to soak up the unique atmosphere filled with music, performers, restaurants and shops.
Cycling to Venice Beach & Santa Moncia
Today you’ll head to Venice Beach and pick up the rental bikes that we’ve arranged for you. This is the most relaxed way to explore Venice Beach and Santa Monica. It’s a great way to avoid the LA crowds, and you can take it as easy as you like. We suggest a stop en route for ice cream, visit Santa Monica, and don’t forget to check out Venice and Muscle beach.
You also have plenty of free time to explore LA whilst you’re here. Why not have a stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame it’s an iconic pastime for any visitor or if you’re looking for some adventure, a hike along one of California’s many trails will certainly blow the cobwebs away. For history-lovers, there are plenty of options, from the Natural History Museum to the La Brea Tar Pits
If relaxing is on the cards after all that sightseeing L.A. is also home to miles of pristine beaches, which we think is a perfect way to unwind and finish your trip off!
Departure from Los Angeles
This is most likely your last stop on your USA road trip, which sadly means it’s time to pack your bags and say goodbye before you head to the airport to drop off your rental car. From here it’s easy to make your way to the terminal for your international flight home.
If three nights just isn’t enough to explore this sprawling city, just let your Travel Specialist know to extend your stay here.
