Arrival in Puebla
When you arrive you’ll make your way to settle in at your hotel near the central square – a perfect base to explore the highlights of the city. You’ll find restaurants and food stalls all around, and the historic centre alone is home to 70 old churches and a beautiful cathedral. Take a stroll around, find a spot for some tacos and a cold beer, and watch life unfold.

Explore (and taste) the city
After a relaxing morning, you’ll meet up with a local ‘Poblano’ guide for a taste tour of the city. Puebla is famous for its ‘mole’, a sauce based on chocolate that is often eaten with chicken and rice, and you’ll also sample plenty of other Mexican delicacies from tacos to nachos, and go behind the scenes of small restaurants and bakeries. You can also make use of some real local knowledge to find out all the best places to eat and drink this evening…

Continue your journey through Mexico
With your belly still full, this morning it’s time to say goodbye to Puebla and travel to your next Mexican destination.
