Your day-by-day itinerary
Arrive in Moab
Today you’ll head deep into red rock country, travelling along the dusty highway into Moab. You will have plenty of time to find your feet and settle into your accommodation for the next couple of nights. Why not grab some lunch and then head out to explore the nearby Arches National Park to see some of its unique array of rock formations. After your sightseeing you’ll have time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool and a bite to eat.
Rafting down the river
On day two it’s time for some real adventure where you’ll head onto the mighty Colorado River. You’ll be picked up after breakfast and taken the short distance to your starting point where you can try your hand at rafting! Don’t panic you will have an expert guide on hand who will make sure you’re well equipped to head down the picturesque river. It’s a slow paced activity where you can take in the scenery and If you get too hot, just jump in for a quick cool off!
There is even time for you to whip up a classic America burger at a bbq – you’ll definitely have earnt it!
Departure from Moab
Sadly it’s time to leave, make sure you have a hearty breakfast, as it’s a slightly longer trip today on your American road trip. You’ll either be heading towards Bryce Canyon for a unique ranch experience or to the spectacular Zion National Park.
