From Coffee Bean to Coffee Cup
This afternoon you’ll be met by Richard and head out to learn about the coffee in this area. As you stroll through the grounds of the coffee farm, it quickly becomes clear just how much work is involved in producing this drink. In the small production area, you’ll roll up your sleeves and get to work roasting the coffee beans yourself. Do your best because you’ll be taking these beans home as a souvenir!
Volcan Baru Jeep Tour
If you’re up for an adventure we can arrange for you to take a day trip by jeep to the summit of Volcan Baru, Panama’s only volcano. You’ll begin your trip before dawn and as you climb higher, journey through five different climate zones each with a variety of unique plants and animals. At the top, if the weather is clear, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea at the same time.
£175 - per person
This morning your own roasted coffee will be delivered to the hotel reception. When you get home, you can treat your friends to a cup! January to March is the best time to travel to Boquete. Outside this time, it rains from midday to 3pm almost on the dot, but it’s still possible to enjoy yourself. Temperatures remain around 28 degrees most of the year.
