Project Peru is a small, lively, totally voluntary UK-based charity. They offer food, clothes, shelter, education, healthcare and fun to those who live in their children’s refuge in the desert shanty towns of Lima.

They also give ongoing and practical support to those who live in extreme poverty in the local community. Their refuge in Zapallal cares for over 50 children and offers real opportunities to children and staff alike.

How do we support Project Peru?

children playing with toys in Peru

We’re really passionate about giving something back to the destinations and communities that we work with.

That’s why £5 of the value of every Peru booking will always be contributed to our local project; Project Peru. Of course, if you’d like to donate more, that’s no problem! Just let us know.

Oh, and we also do a little fundraising ourselves throughout the year, too! You can read more about this on our blog.

Where does the money go?

Your money goes towards providing clothes, food, school equipment and shelter, as well as fun activities for the children and community projects.
