Family accommodation options
We focus on unique, small-scale accommodation with an authentic character. You could stay in a traditional posada, a small hotel, a local guesthouse or an Amazon jungle lodge. You can also upgrade your accommodation to the In Style level and stay in, for example, a colonial villa or a converted monastery. We offer four categories of accommodation and our Travel Specialists have first-hand experience to help you pick the perfect ones for your family holiday.

Family hiking trips in Peru
Many come to Peru to go trekking in the Andes, most famously to hike the Inca Trail. These mountain routes offer a stiff though extremely rewarding walk, and are suitable for teens and up. (It’s a good idea to acclimatise to the air at high altitude before embarking, for instance in the historical town of Cuzco.) On the Inca Trail you’ll be accompanied by porters, meaning you’ll have less weight to carry and more opportunities to enjoy the stunning views.
Getting around in Peru
Peru has a good transportation network, with comfortable express buses connecting all of the main cities and key points of interest. Some of these buses are luxury-class, with larger seats and onboard catering, should you wish to travel in extra comfort. You can travel in Peru using a mix of buses, trains, and taxis, and we will of course arrange all of the transfers for you so that your family can travel with peace of mind.
