Our style of travel is more than just about interacting with waiters and taxi drivers. If you’re looking for a particularly immersive experience then we recommend our Rio de Janeiro trip which includes a favela tour with a local guide. Visiting a favela will give you the chance to experience the local community and an understanding into their way of life on top of the hill.
When selecting the accommodation to use in our trips our Product Managers opt for small-scale locally owned properties wherever we can which not only benefit the local community and economy but also add something extra to your adventure in Brazil. Of course in some areas, especially cities, it can be harder to find these but we will always try to find something suitable.
Our Local Brazil Project
We select aid projects for each destination we offer, and give all of our customers the option to make a small donation to these projects when they book their trip. In Brazil we are proud to support Casa de Santa Ana, a foundation which strives to improve the living standards of the elderly and their families in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Since most Brazil projects support orphanages, the elderly are often forgotten. That’s why we believe Santa Ana’s House is a very worthwhile cause.
Our Brazil Travel Specialists
Our specialists love Brazil; the Caipirinha cocktails, Amazon Jungle and lazy days on tropical sandy beaches. They experienced them first hand and now they want to share their knowledge and passion. Find out more about our team and their handy tips for travelling in Brazil.
Our Local Partners in Brazil
In Brazil we work with a local partner who shares our values to offer meaningful experiences and get you closer to the destination. Our local partner have been awarded with the Travelife for Tour Operators certification, the first company in Brazil to achieve this, demonstrating our mutual goal to offer sustainable trips to our customers
