Meaningful Travel in Peru
When travelling through Peru we think it’s best to try to minimise our negative impact on the local communities and if possible travel with meaning wherever you go. This could be where you choose to stay, the trips you go on or the transport you take. If you want to find out more about travelling with meaning then take a look below.

Our Trips
As meaningful travel is at the heart of what we do, we think it’s great to get to grips with the local way of life and support environmentally friendly ventures in the destination. If you’re looking for something particularly meaningful, our Amazon trip should fit the bill. All guides are employed locally and you’ll stay in a sustainable jungle lodge on the bank of the river. All materials have been sourced locally, using wood, clay and reed from the surrounding area.

Our Accommodation
We believe that where you stay can have a real impact on your trip, so we try to use locally owned, small-scale hotels and guest houses wherever we can so you get a real experience of Peru during your travels. If you’re looking for something truly immersive take a look at our home stay during our Titicaca Island Hopping trip, where you’ll stay with a local family, learning about their culture and traditions and supporting the community. You can even stay in a hotel which supports and employs former street kids in Cusco.
