Day 1 – Arrival in the Damaraland
Today you’ll travel through remote rocky desert and over a winding mountain pass before arriving at your camp for the next two nights. As evening falls, your guide will brief you for the next day and cook a three-course meal over the campfire, often joined by a local host who shares stories about community projects such as rhino conservation. With almost no light pollution it’s the perfect place for stargazing, so once the sun has set, you might even catch a clear glimpse of the Milky Way!
Day 2 – Rhino tracking
The next morning you’ll rise early for your rhino-tracking adventure! You’ll meet your guide & tracker and small group before heading into the wild. Damaraland is is home to the endangered black rhino — an incredible sight if you’re lucky enough to spot one. Of course, it’s not a guarantee that you’ll see rhinos, but the sweeping views of rugged cliffs, dry riverbeds and scattered acacia trees make the journey unforgettable no matter what. With a little luck, you may also come across zebras, giraffes and desert antelopes along the way. In the late afternoon you’ll return back to your camp, where you can try your hand at cooking your own braai. As you drift off to sleep in your cosy tent, you’ll hear the distant sounds of wildlife come to life.

Day 3 – Departure from the Damaraland
After a final night in your tent, it’s time to move on. Continue your Namibia adventure to Etosha National Park, where you can spot zebras from your car. Or head to the coastal city of Swakopmund where you can get up close to fur seals on a sea kayak.
