Day 1 – Welcome to the snowy world of Rovaniemi

Land in Lapland and discover a world of snow and ice. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting for you to take you to your typical chalet on the outskirts of Rovaniemi. Although within close proximity to the city, you will feel completely immersed in the Finnish wilderness. Atop of the hill and surrounded by glistening snowy forests, this place is both comfortable and blissful. You’ll have the rest of the day free for you to explore the area at your leisure and if you get a little cold after the adventures outside in the snow, make use of the onsite Finnish sauna for the full Lapland experience!

Day 2 – Husky safari

After breakfast it’s time for action as you head out on a husky safari! You’ll get to know these Arctic dogs and how to handle them up close. After your guide gives instructions, you’ll climb into a sled pulled by six or more huskies, who will be full of anticipation. With one person acting as the musher (driver), the others in the sled can enjoy the winter wonderland landscape. You’ll take a break along the way, so you have time to take pictures, have a hot drink and swap around if someone else wants to give stirring a go. The rest of the day is free for you to do as you please

Day 3 – Santa’s Village

Have you ever met the real Santa Claus? If not – you’re in luck, as his official postal address is in Rovaniemi. Stroll along the atmospheric houses and shops for souvenirs, live in the fairy-tale for a day and snap a selfie with Santa and his helpers (if he’s not too busy with his Santa’s duties). After lunch, hop on a snowmobile and visit a local reindeer farm, where you can get your reindeer driver’s license on a short ride.

Day 4 – Goodbye Lapland

Over the past few days you have discovered Lapland in a truly special way. Enthusiastic huskies have taken you through the Finnish Lapland and Santa’s welcomed you into his magical residence. You might have spotted a pack of reindeer not far from your accommodation, and might have been lucky to witness the Northern Lights dancing in the dark wintery skies above the Arctic. But what we know for sure is this trip was full of magical moments. Now it’s time to head to the airport and fly back home with many incredible memories.
