Starting in San Francisco, you’ll visit the historical Alcatraz, before heading inland to explore plunging canyons, towering rock formations and the bright lights of Las Vegas. You’ll end your trip on the coast of Los Angeles with a cycling excursion along the beachside and plenty of time to unwind in the sun!

Sights of San Francisco

San Francisco is definitely one to tick off your USA adventure! The city is home to endless highlights such as the iconic Golden Gate Bridge! Here you will stay in a central hotel where you can easily head out on foot to explore! The highlight of your trip here is sure to be a trip to the infamous Alcatraz prison where we have included tickets for you to visit. Take an audio tour where an old inmate will detail their time spent here. It’s not to be missed!

Yosemite is one of America’s most famous national parks. If the great outdoors is a passion of yours then this is not to be missed!  Rugged landscape, roaring waterfalls, soaring trees and panoramic vistas will welcome you and you won’t want to leave. Your home for two nights is a simple lodge on the outskirts of the National Park, where you have 3 days to explore this wonderful National Park.

A night in Mammoth Lakes

You’ll have one night in Mammoth Lakes, a town nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Known for its walking trails, it is a great place to stop en route through this mountainous region. Take a stroll through the forest amongst the giant sequoia trees and enjoy the quaint feel of this mountain resort.

Viva, Las Vegas! Take a rest from the long car drives and national park adventures and spend the next few days enjoying the crazy, wacky world of America’s entertainment capital. You’ll stay in a hotel perfectly located on the famous Strip and have plenty of time to enjoy all that this lively city has to offer. From endlessly entertaining theme parks and stratospheric rollercoasters to neon lights, Elvis doubles and iconic fountain shows, Vegas offers a great opportunity for some carefree fun before disappearing into the desert. You’ll head out on a limo tour of the strip with a knowledgeable driver who’ll show you all the lights and sights.

Located about 3 hours from Vegas is Springdale – the gateway town to tranquil Zion National Park. This is the setting for your time here and couldn’t be any more picturesque, as you stay in a cosy lodge with everything at your footsteps. Your Lodge comes complete with outdoor pool, a perfect spot to take in the soaring red rock formations. Zion has a relaxed feel and car-free roads, perfect for heading off on bikes or on foot! Deep in Utah State

Deep in Utah State you’ll discover the geological wonder that is Bryce Canyon. Its vast natural amphitheatres are filled with mystical spires of brown, yellow and red rock known as “hoodoos”. There are many stunning viewpoints from which you can enjoy breathtaking views, great hiking to be had and night-time astronomy talks regularly held.

Memories in Monument Valley

On this trip you will visit one of the most photographed places in the USA! It’s time to saddle up and give your best “Yeehaw!” as you take a 2-3 hour guided adventure on horse through Monument Valley. The awe-inspiring rock formations give you the feeling that your starring in an old western film situated in the Wild West. Guided by your local Navajo Indian guide, you’ll learn more about the traditional way of life and culture too.

Gateway to Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is one of Earth’s greatest natural wonders and over the next couple of days, you’ll get to witness the deep gorges and ethereal views – leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime. Heading to the Colorado Plateau, you’ll arrive at Tusayan – a gateway town to the national park. You’ll spend a night in a hotel that is well located and with plenty of places to eat nearby. If you’re up for it, what better way to absorb the sheer scale of the canyon then by helicopter? Get your kicks on Route 66

Route 66 is one of the most legendary roads in the world, it’s a tick off the bucket list for sure! Time to explore just like the movies as you head across dusty desert roads and western film sets – it’s just like the wild west! Kingman is the perfect place along this famous highway to stop over after travelling from the Grand Canyon westwards.

Los Angeles & Hollywood Hills

Los Angeles, an iconic city with lots on offer. You’ll stay in picture perfect Marina del Rey, a port with a bohemian vibe, that’s only a stone’s thrown from Venice beach. A highlight here is cycling along Venice Beach to Santa Monica. Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to explore so strap on your hiking boots to navigate the trails dotted along the coast or get a taste of Tinseltown on Hollywood Boulevard.
