The Arctic Circle Express

After breakfast this morning, it’s time to pack up your stuff as you move on to your next destination. From the lodge you will be taken to the train station and board the Arctic Circle Express, which will take you through the wintry landscape to Abisko in approximately 1.5 hours. Once there, just a few minutes walk from the train station is the lodge where you will stay for the next two nights. Abisko really is a unique place in the mountains; the air is clean, the nights are often clear and there is virtually no light pollution. Ideal conditions for spotting the Northern Lights.

Snowmobile Adventure Abisko National Park

Snowmobiles are the ideal means of transportation to explore the mountainous environment of the Abisko National Park. Today you will get on your snowmobile in pairs and follow your guide up the mountains and into the wilderness. With a bit of luck, you’ll even get to spot a moose along the way. Halfway through the journey you will stop for a while to warm up with a drink and you can switch drivers if necessary. Besides the snowmobile tour, there is so much to experience in this part of Swedish Lapland, such as ice fishing on a lake or ice climbing up a frozen waterfall.
