Accommodation in Tibet

You’ll spend most nights of your Tibet holiday in atmospheric Tibet accommodation characteristic to the area you’re travelling through. The quality of hotels in Tibet has improved significantly in larger cities such as Lhasa and Shigatse. Naturally, the more off-road you get during your Tibet trip, the more simple the accommodation. Instead of staying in hotels you’ll stay in guest houses and at times you’ll have to share the facilities. This is a great setting for an adventurous Tibet trip through the Himalayas!

Simple Accommodation

Category 2

Sometimes when deciding where to stay in Tibet, there aren’t as many options available due to your location. Our simple accommodation category offers you modest, yet reasonably comfortable accommodation options. You’ll have your own room, often with shared toilet. Keep in mind that this type of accommodation can also get quite cold. Warm water may not always be available and electricity may falter at times. However, there are always extra warm blankets to cuddle up under and a crackling fire to sit next to.
