Travel by Train in China
Travelling by rail is a fantastic way to experience China. The distances in this huge country are rather large, so bedding down on an overnight sleeper will save on accommodation and the price of a domestic flight. There’s a good chance you’ll be sharing a cabin with the locals too, so you could try and brush up on your Chinese.
Travel by Bus in Bolivia
The roads in Bolivia might seem a little hair-raising at first, but you’ll almost certainly have an adventure. We only use buses for the most reliable routes, and just like travelling by train, you’ll get the chance to sit with local Bolivians and really experience their culture.
Travel by Private Car in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka may be pretty compact but the roads wind their way through the hills making distances longer than you might think. It’s not a great destination for hiring a car which is why we’ll give you a private car with a driver. You’ll still have the freedom to stop along the way to take photos whilst your driver entertains you with tales of Sri Lanka!
Travel by Domestic Flights in Brazil
Brazil is, quite simply, huge. So it will probably come as no surprise that’ll you need to take a few domestic flights during your trip. The domestic airlines are well run and there are an extensive number of routes available.
Travel with Meaning
Smaller transfers, perhaps from your hotel to the train station, we prefer to leave up to you to. It’s very easy to arrange a tuk-tuk, rickshaw or taxi and you’ll be supporting the local drivers directly. For some of our bite-sized trips, we offer a completely unique way of travelling; perhaps by junk boat, bicycle, cycle rickshaw or even camel!
