Your day-by-day itinerary
Arrival in Teton National Park
As you head towards Teton, the dusty desert scenery will give way to green hills, pine forests and rippling mountain rivers. You’ll be spending the next couple of nights in a typical American motel overlooking the Rocky Mountains. Although it’s comfortably warm during the day (around 25/26 degrees in summer), it cools down at night, so don’t forget to pack some warm layers.
Scenic Boat Float
The best way to enjoy the American Rockies is from the water, so we’ve arranged a float trip down Snake River. Sit back and enjoy the view, whilst your guide shows you around. Keep your eyes peeled as you’re likely to spot beavers, ospreys, and cliff swallows whilst meandering down the river. After 3 hours you’ll be back on dry land and you and your family can spend the rest of the day as you wish.
Depart from Teton National Park
Today, it’s time to wave goodbye to the Rockies as you head onto your next destination, Yellowstone National Park. Explore the geysers, hot springs and mud pots that make this park so famous.
If this is the last stop of your USA trip then you’ll drive back to Salt Lake City instead. This journey will take about five hours and you’ll be flying home from here.
