Campfire area at the wagons at Bear Lake, USA

Day 1

Arrival in Bear Lake

Bear Lake, nestled on the border of Utah and Idaho, offers the perfect stop-off on the route between Salt Lake City and Yellowstone National Park. This is a great place to spend a couple of nights, taking in the views across the turquoise blue lake and sleeping in a traditional style 19th-century wagon! You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a king-size bed, bunk-beds, bedding and a fire-pit – perfect for toasting marshmallows!

Day 2

Discover the area

Today is free for you and your family to explore the area at your own pace. Take a hike along one of the many walking trails overlooking the water, borrow bikes from the ranch or spend the day relaxing at a lake-side beach. If you fancy going further afield then Paris Ice Cave is about an hour away, and is a rare sight on a summers day with ice and snow present all year round!
