Jungle Adventures in Khao Sok

Most families travel to Surat Thani by sleeper train and arrive at the train station in the morning. You’ll be collected by your guide and driver along with a small group of other travellers to our Anurak Community Lodge in Khao Sok National Park, a stunning location hidden amongst the limestone cliffs. The lodge has comfortable bungalows set in lush gardens and overlooks the stunning national park.

Once you’ve checked in and dropped your bags off at the lodge you will head to the river where your canoe and guide will be waiting for you. You’ll be in a double canoe with your guide who will lead you through the twists and turns of the calm river. Take in the views of the idyllic limestone cliffs towering above. Your local guide will tell you all about the flora and fauna in this dense undergrowth and you can take splash in the water at the end to cool off, before you head back to the lodge for a traditional Thai dinner. Afterwards sit back and soak up the serenity of the lush jungle, listening to the monkeys playing in the trees above.

Today is the end of your Khao Sok adventures and you’ll pack up your things ready to move on to your next destination. Many families tend to head south to the beaches to experience white sands and turquoise seas.
