Pacific Side

The Pacific side of Panama incorporates the totally tropical valley of Boquete. Average temperatures here remain steady throughout the year between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius. However, you can expect significantly more rainfall during the months of August and October. Best to pack a poncho.

Caribbean Side

On Panama’s Caribbean coast you’ll find the soft white sands of the San Blas Islands. Temperatures here remain a steady 26-27 degrees Celsius throughout the year but the driest time to go is from the end of December to early April. If you’re visiting the islands to get to know the indigenous Kuna community, then really any time of year should suit you just fine.
