Cuba is the perfect destination for an adventurous family holiday. Kick back under the palms and watch the turquoise waters along Cuba’s white-sandy shores, then head inland for a variety of cultural experiences. Tour Havana’s cobbled streets in a vintage car, visit Cuba’s pioneering eco-village of Las Terrazas or ride bicycles through the tobacco hills of Viñales. It’s up to you how you travel, with the flexibility to explore at your own pace by hire car or private transfers.

Flexible family holidays

Our bite-sized 2-4 day trips piece together easily, giving families the chance to create a personalised holiday. It’s well-known that kids need plenty of entertainment and we’re happy to advise on extra activities to keep them busy! Cuba is full of adventures, from snorkelling trips and jungle walks to hidden waterfalls and horse rides through tobacco hills. Alternatively, why not browse our ready-made itineraries which can be tweaked to your liking.

Getting around in Cuba

You can travel with your family in Cuba by private transfers or hire car. For a fun and authentic road trip, we can recommend a self-drive family holiday. Driving in Cuba is generally a low-stress affair. While some of the country roads may be lacking in maintenance, this is not so different from driving in parts of rural Europe. The motorways see very little traffic and are easy to drive.

Cuba family holiday accommodation

With all of our accommodation options, our aim is to give your family a taste of real Cuban hospitality in comfortable and safe surroundings. In beach resorts such as Varadero or Cayo Largo, we provide beach bungalows as well as comfortable In Style options. Elsewhere you’ll be able to enjoy local hotels as well as casas particulares, which are uniquely Cuban family-run bed & breakfasts.

Simply pick and choose your favourite Cuba bite-sized trips or ready-made itineraries, add them to your travel plan and request a quote. It’s easy. Our travel specialists will then put together a holiday that’s right for you. Plus you’ll have the same team for the life of your booking & support from our local partners on the ground 24/7.

Speak to our Cuba specialist, Ross

"One of my favourite things about travelling in Cuba is simply watching life on the streets; kids playing football, old friends having a game of chess, salsa music lingering in the air. It's not hard to fall under Cuba's spell."
