All our trips in Tibet endeavour to give something back to the local communities you are travelling in. We have a Tibetan partner based in Lhasa who use Tibetan-owned hotels and all our guides and drivers are local Tibetans, giving you a real insight into their culture.
When choosing our accommodation, we try to use locally-owned Tibetan guest houses and hotels wherever we can. Accommodation in Tibet is limited in areas but we’ve tried to find places which benefit the local community and economy, which also means you may get to stay somewhere a bit out of the ordinary.
Our Local Tibet Project
In all our destinations we like to support a local project to give something back. In Tibet, we’re proud supporters of Braille without Borders, an international development organisation which creates training programs and books for blind and visually impaired people in Tibet and across the world.
Our Tibet Travel Specialists
Our Travel Specialists love Tibet; the deep spirituality, sweeping landscapes and impressive Himalayas. Our specialists are keen to share their knowledge and passion about Tibet and the experiences they had on their trips. Find out more about our team and their handy tips for travelling in Tibet.
Our Local Partner in Tibet
In Tibet we work closely with a local partner who shares our values to offer meaningful travel experiences. Local guides and drivers are used so you can benefit from their knowledge and expertise whilst supporting the local community. Who best to give recommendations on the best places to visit than a local who lives in the area.
