Throughout our bite-sized trips we try to offer meaningful experiences that you’ll remember long after your return home. For example during our Planes, Trains and Watermobiles trip you’ll meet the local Palaung community as you trek through the mountainous landscapes. This will give you the opportunity to experience a completely unique experience of Burmese life.
When choosing our accommodation options in Myanmar we look for small-scale, locally owned properties full of local character. We think it’s important that where you lay your head is just as authentic as everything else you’ll experience with us in Myanmar. From village lodges to cosy bed and breakfasts, take a look at our accommodation options.
Our Local Myanmar Project
In all our destinations we like to support a local project to give something back. In Myanmar we are proud supporters of HEAL Kids, a foundation suporting various projects throughout Myanmar from fudning life-changing operations to running feeding programmes for orphans and schooling disadvantaged children.
Meet our Myanmar Travel Specialists
Our Travel Specialists know and love all things Burmese. They’ve eaten the food, slept in the beds and had some fantastic and memorable experiences along the way. Find out more about their travels and tips for getting the most out of your time in Myanmar.
Our Local Partners
We work with a local partner in Myanmar who cares just as much about meaningful travel as we do. Our Product Manager frequently discusses responsible travel and sustainability with our Burmese partners and we’re both constantly looking for ways to improve. We also use local Burmese guides and drivers for all of our excursions, so you’ll have the advantage of your guide’s local knowledge; you can even ask them where their favourite restaurants are!
Ceri shares her favourite Myanmar experiences, from peaceful sunsets on Lake Inle to cultural adventures in the Shan highlands.
